Usually we require 24-48 hours notice. However, depending on the workload we can sometimes deliver the same day.

How do you offload the concrete?

If the lorry can get to within 4mtr of the pour location, we can probably offload straight into the area requiring the concrete.If the lorry cannot reach the pouring location, responsibility for ensuring Concrete can be moved from the Mixer to the area required falls to you the customer.(E.g. Barrowing yourself, use of a dumper etc) Please ensure you have enough labour available to handle the volume of concrete required.Our lorries come equipped with 2 wheelbarrows should you require the use of them.Please contact our team to discuss any barrow requirements you may have.

As we only mix onsite, if you do need more or you have over-calculated it is not a problem as you will only pay for what you use.

What strength should I order?

Your architect would usually specify what mix of concrete is required.

However, if you have not been specified a concrete mix please use our products page for advice or contact our team to discuss your requirements in detail.

How much concrete can your lorry carry?

How much concrete can your lorry carry?

Our lorries can carry enough raw materials to mix up to 8m³.

However, this does not mean we can only deliver 8m³.

Owing to our fleet of lorries we can deliver large volumes of concrete to your site if required.

What access do you require?

What access do you require?

Our volumetric lorries are 11 mtr long and 2.96 mtr wide with a height of 3.9 mtr.

Please make sure that you have sufficient space and clearance for our lorry to gain access and that the ground is firm and stable as our lorries weigh up to 40 tons when fully loaded.

How do I pay for my concrete?

How do I pay for my concrete?

When you place your order we take payment for the quoted amount you require.

A card payment is the preferred method as this allows us to refund any money for concrete that you might not use, or charge for any extra concrete you require on the day of delivery.

We allow 15 minutes offload per cubic metre (straight tip) of concrete delivered.

If you exceed the allocated waiting time, we charge £1.25 per minute.
Please make sure you have enough labour on hand to transfer the concrete or screed to your footings/base.

We allow our operatives 20mins per M³ if the Barrow Service is required.
Waiting time @ £1.25min will be applicable after this.

Failed Delivery or Cancellations?

If access is not available at the time of delivery then we reserve the right to charge a fee. Customers are required to give 24 hours notice to cancel any booked concrete delivery, failure to provide 24 hours notice will incur a charge of 50% of the concrete ordered.
