Usually we require 24-48 hours notice. However, depending on the workload we can sometimes deliver the same day.

How do you offload the concrete?

If the lorry can get to within 4mtr of the pour location we can probably offload straight into the area requiring the concrete.

Our maximum reach is about 5mtr.

If the lorry cannot reach the pouring location, due to access (e.g. works in the rear garden), we can offer a barrow service.

Our Schwing S 24 X boomed concrete pump provides the complete concrete solutiuon from delivery to placement, this in turn helps speed up the delivery saving on costly labour time.

With a reach of 20 meters on the boom and a further 30 meters by line we can accommodate most jobs. Visit our Concrete Pump page for more information.

WIll you barrow up ramps?

WIll you barrow up ramps?

We prefer to barrow on flat, level and firm ground.

However, if you require us to barrow up a ramp we will only do so if the ramp is no steeper than 1:5 gradient.

By using our calculator you can work out how much you require.

As we only mix onsite, if you do need more or you have over-calculated it is not a problem as you will only pay for what you use.

We cannot guarantee that we would be able to deliver concrete to your area if it is not highlighted on our map.

Your architect would usually specify what mix of concrete is required.

However, if you have not been specified a concrete mix please use our products page for advice or contact our team to discuss your requirements in detail.

How much concrete can your lorry carry?

How much concrete can your lorry carry?

Our lorries can carry enough raw materials to mix up to 9m³.

However, this does not mean we can only deliver 9m³.

Owing to our fleet of lorries we can deliver large volumes of concrete to your site if required.

Contact our team for more information on large concrete deliveries.

What access do you require?

What access do you require?

Our volumetric lorries are 11 mtr long and 2.96 mtr wide with a height of 3.9 mtr.

Please make sure that you have sufficient space and clearance for our lorry to gain access and that the ground is firm and stable as our lorries weigh up to 40 tons when fully loaded.

How do I pay for my concrete?

When you place your order we take payment for the quoted amount you require.

A card payment is the preferred method as this allows us to refund any money for concrete that you might not use, or charge for any extra concrete you require on the day of delivery.

We allow 12 minutes offload per cubic metre (straight tip) of concrete delivered.

If you exceed the allocated waiting time we charge £1.25 per minute.
Please make sure you have enough labour on hand to transfer the concrete or screed to your footings/base.

We allow our operatives 20mins per M³ if the Barrow Service is required.
Waiting time @ £1.25min will be applicable after this.
